Monday
Participate in STEM

To kick off our holiday camp, we will go on an exciting discovery tour through the EXPERIMINTA ScienceCenter and dive straight into hands-on science! During a thrilling scavenger hunt, we’ll explore the museum from a whole new perspective. We'll carry out fun and fascinating experiments to solve tricky questions and uncover the science behind everyday phenomena.
And after our quest, we’ll take a few spins on the Devil’s Wheel and find out what centrifugal force is all about – and where we encounter it in daily life. Get ready for a day full of curiosity, movement, and scientific surprises!
Tuesday
Colourful expedition into the light

Get ready for an exciting expedition to the light! Along the way we will encounter colourful phenomena and spectacular plays of light. Our journey will even take us across the glowing rainbow and up into the sky. There we will discover the mystery of dawn and find out why the sky changes its colour in the morning.
But first we have to find out what colours are and how we can see them. On this voyage of discovery, sometimes we have to look very closely to shed light on the darkness.
Wednesday
Play it smart - with science

Today we create, try out and marvel. Whether bouncing balls, bubbling volcanoes, shimmering soap bubbles or slippery slime - we make our own toys and discover the exciting world of science in the process. What makes real volcanoes erupt? How are the colours in a soap bubble created? And why is slime sometimes viscous, sometimes liquid?
We get to the bottom of all these questions in our hands-on lab. In the process, we will playfully learn about basic concepts from chemistry and physics - from reactions and states of matter to surface tension. There's guaranteed to be no boredom here!
Thursday
Mix, Make & Care: The Sustainable DIY Lab

How much chemistry is actually in the bathroom? And how can we protect our environment? Two questions that don't seem to have much in common at first glance - but on the fourth day of our holiday camp, we will find exciting answers!
In our hands-on lab, we will create colourful soap and fragrant cream together. And almost incidentally, we will learn how soap removes dirt and what our skin is made of. On this day, the focus is not only on exciting experiments, but also on sustainability. And best of all: the homemade products can of course be taken home!
Friday
Flying adventures

What do the many display instruments in an aircraft cockpit mean? How do you steer an plane in the air? And why does an plane fly at all?
We use models, simulations and small experiments to get to the bottom of the physics of flying. Then, we climb into our flight simulator and take off on an extensive sightseeing flight over the Frankfurt skyline. You can then try out everything you have learnt directly on the plane.
