The future of the EXPERIMINTA ScienceCenter is secure! Our hands-on museum is expected to move into a new home in Frankfurt-Höchst in the fall of 2027. Until then, the EXPERIMINTA ScienceCenter will remain open for you at its current location at Hamburger Allee 22–24.
This marks an important decision for the future: EXPERIMINTA will remain in Frankfurt and, with the former tax office at Hospitalstraße 16a in Höchst, has a long-term future ahead.
What happens next?
The EXPERIMINTA ScienceCenter will remain in Bockenheim until the move
For now, nothing will change for you: You can still visit the EXPERIMINTA ScienceCenter on Hamburger Allee in 2027. The museum will continue to operate here until the planned move.
A New Home in Frankfurt-Höchst
A new location has been found at the former tax office at Hospitalstraße 16a. The building is being renovated to meet the requirements of the EXPERIMINTA ScienceCenter and made accessible to people with disabilities. The necessary work is scheduled to be completed by fall 2027, after which the move will take place and the center will open at its new location.
There’s still plenty of time before the move, during which we can explore and marvel together. We’re looking forward to everything that lies ahead and to embarking on this journey together with you!
